Freddy Krueger

October 1918: Amanda Krueger is born in Westin Hills hospital in Springwood, Ohio.

July 1936: At the tender age of 18, Amanda decides to devote her life to God and becomes a nun. Her name in Christ was to be known as "Sister Mary Helena." Her first assignment as a nun is to, ironically, the place she was born, Westin Hills. She is put in "The Tower", which was the insider nickname for the place where the absolute worst of the criminally insane were locked up like animals.

December 1937: During the holiday season, just a few days shy of Christmas, Amanda Krueger was accidentally locked in "The Tower" when the guards were in a hurry to go home to their families. The inmates kept her hidden for several days, brutally raping and beating her. When she was finally found, she was barely alive, and pregnant.

September 1938: After a breech birth, Fred Charles Krueger is born. Amanda decides to raise the boy, and the convent allows her to stay on as a nun.

July 1948 - December 1948: Freddy (as his mother called him) began to display eccentric and even sociopath tendencies, such as playing alone and hurting small animals.

January 1949: At the tender age of 11, Freddy becomes a ward of the state after slicing his mother's leg with a kitchen knife.

1949 - 1956: Freddy bounces from Foster home to Foster home as he goes through grade school. He quickly becomes the other children's scapegoat. Two particularly horrible bullies where Walter Lantz and Douglas Parker.

March 1956: At the age of 17, Freddy is sent back to live with his mother to try and help the boy. Freddy is already showing homicidal tendencies, including killing dogs and cats. He also finds his first ever beat up fedora outside of a grocery store.

April 1957: Freddy is released from his mother's care after he rapes and beats her.

June 1957: Freddy is sent to live with a drunk old farmer on the outskirts of Springwood after dropping out from Springwood High School.

August 1957: After developing a taste for self-mutilation with his straight razor, Freddy murders the farmer, who as it turned out was abusive. Due to the fact he was under the age of 18 by roughly one month, he wasn't tried for murder.

October 1957: Freddy goes to work as a janitor at Springwood High. He also meets and begins to court Loretta Johnson, a waitress at a nearby diner.

December 1957: Freddy Krueger marries Loretta Johnson.

January 1958 - June 1962: Freddy lives a double life at the time, playing family man with Loretta and maltreating and raping prostitutes. He continues to have problems with his work record, as he is fired and rehired to his janitorial services. In between the stints as janitor, he begins to work in the Springwood Power Plant on the outskirts of town.

June 1962: Katherine Krueger is born.

July 1962 - July 1963: Freddy tries to reform and actually succeeds to a small degree, committing no really heinous acts during this time.

July 1963 - September 1967: Freddy begins to systematically slaughter all the children of Springwood. Among those that lose their children are several of Freddy's classmates from school that teased him horribly. He manages to hide his secret from his wife and daughter by keeping his instruments of destruction hidden and locked up in the basement. It is at this time that he also buys an old ice cream truck and uses it to lure children to their deaths. He also receives a successful transfer from the high school and becomes the new janitor of Springwood Elementary School.

September 1967: Loretta accidentally uncovers what is going on in the basement. Freddy strangles her to death. Katherine witnesses the murder and tells someone. Katherine is taken to an adoption home and Freddy flees the law.

September 1967 - September 1970: Freddy kills at least 10 more children, hiding in his ice cream truck and at the local power plant where he used to work. It is estimated that "The Springwood Slasher", as the papers dubbed Freddy, has killed at least 20 to 30 children.

September 1970: Lt. Donald Thompson collars Freddy Krueger just as Krueger was about to murder 5 year old Kevin Marks. Thompson had an arrest warrant for Krueger.

October 1970: After sitting in a holding cell for a month, Freddy goes to trial. During the trial, it is revealed that the arrest warrant for Freddy was not signed in the proper place. Due to this technicality, Freddy is released. The parents swore revenge. That night, a mob of angry parents including Lt. Thompson and his wife Marge, Richard Lane and his wife, Walter Lantz, and Doug Parker, among others, collar Freddy in his boiler room and burn him to death. But the parents were too late to save the life of 6 year old Melissa Roberts, Freddy's last victim. Also dying around this time was Amanda Krueger. After hearing about what happened in the trial, she lost her mind and hung herself allegedly, but no body was ever found.

September 1980: In a three day stretch three teenagers die in Springwood. No fugitive was ever apprehended for the murders, but the local police have their fears that it was Freddy Krueger. Two of the victims, Glen Lantz and Tina Gray, died in particularly horrible fashion, which was Krueger's old M.O. Marge Thompson died in her sleep the last night of the crime spree, which seemed to end the murderous rampage. Following the death of his ex-wife, Donald Thompson and his teenage daughter, Nancy, move out of the house.

July 1985: After sitting empty for nearly 5 years, a new family, the Walshes, buy the old Thompson house.

September 1985: In a three or four day stretch, several more teenagers and a local gym coach at the high school all die gristly deaths, the weapon of choice being a straight razor slashed four times in close proximity to one another. Once again, police are baffled, and Krueger's name is mentioned again. After the final death of this killing spree, the Walshes move out of the old Thompson house, and with no one wanting the house, it wastes away.

October 1987: In a three day stretch, several teenagers and a young staff member at Westin Hills all die from apparent suicides. Following this scandal, Westin Hills is closed down.

September 1988: In another brutal killing spree lasting three or four days, several more teenagers, all students at Springwood High, die of mysterious circumstances. One girl, Alice Johnson, claims it was Freddy and she stopped him. No one believes her story.

June 1989: Shortly after graduating Springwood high, three friends of Alice Johnson's all die of varying reasons. Alice's claims that it was Freddy are once again ignored.

September 1989 - September 1999: Mysterious deaths, suicides, instances of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, and other factors cause all the children, teenagers, and young adults of Springwood to mysteriously die. The parents begin to claim that it is, in fact, Freddy Krueger, getting his revenge from beyond the grave. Several adults leave Springwood, those that remain live with a state that can best be described as "mass psychosis." There are rumors that there is one child left in Springwood, but he runs away before any documentation can be made. Also during this ten year period, Alice Johnson gives birth to a son, Jacob Johnson. The two of them mysteriously disappear shortly after Jacob's birth. Their whereabouts are unknown to this day.

September 1999: In another unexplained crime scene, three teenagers are all found dead in Springwood. Two are found in the old Thompson house, one near the town limits. Police are summoned to an explosion in a Youth Shelter just outside the neighboring town of Elm Grove, where they find a dirty brown fedora, several pieces of burned skin and muscle tissue, some sweater fragments, and what appears to be the destroyed remains of a razor-tipped glove.

December 1999: The town of Springwood decides that it is time for a fresh start. All evidence of the Krueger family is destroyed, several news articles are edited and blacked out, and the parents remaining begin to have children again. The children are medicated with an experimental dream suppressant drug called Hypnocil. Several parents begin to move into Springwood with their children and teenagers. Some of the teenagers claim to see a monster in their dreams. They are quickly and quietly shipped off to the newly reopened Westin Hills. Little by little, the town begins to grow again.

September 2003: After 4 years of silence and peace, Jason Voorhees appears in Springwood and begins to slaughter anyone that stands in his way. A van is seen leaving the town late towards the end of the killing spree. It returns hours later, with two young teenagers claiming that Freddy had came back, but they had taken care of him. Of course, no one believes them.

I will see you in your NIGHTMARES or on Elm Street!.
